Dr. Fasika Aberra is a fellowship-trained gastroenterologist at Medstar Shah Medical Group. She earned her medical degree from the University of Michigan and completed her residency at Vanderbilt University. After her fellowship at The Ohio State University, she worked at Sentara Rockingham Memorial Hospital and Gastroenterology Associates P.C. Dr. Aberra’s expertise includes GI care, chronic disease management, and women’s health. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family, hiking with her Great Dane, running, and mastering Ethiopian cuisine. She remains dedicated to advancing her knowledge and making a positive impact in her community.
