About Me
Dr. Bryan Ego-Osuala is a member of the MedStar Shah Medical Group and the Director of Otolaryngology—Head & Neck Surgery Division. He has practiced Otolaryngology–Head & Neck Surgery (ENT) for over a decade. Born and raised in Prince George’s County, he attended the University of Maryland in College Park, where he studied Cell Biology and Molecular Genetics as an undergraduate. Dr. Ego-Osuala received his Medical Doctorate from Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia, where he was inducted into the Hobart Amory Hare Honor Society of Jefferson Medical College.
Dr. Ego-Osuala completed his residency training in Otorhinolaryngology–Head & Neck Surgery at the University of Maryland Medical Center in Baltimore, MD. He then worked as an associate at The Center for Ear, Nose & Throat at Doctors Community Hospital in Lanham and Camp Springs, MD, where he was named Vice-Chairman of the Department of Surgery, Chairman of the Division of Otolaryngology, and Medical Director of the Center for Ear, Nose & Throat.
Dr. Ego-Osuala is a fellow of the American Academy of Otolaryngology–Head & Neck Surgery, a diplomate of the American Board of Otolaryngology–Head & Neck Surgery, and a fellow of the American College of Surgeons.
In 2019, Dr. Ego-Osuala founded Prince Georges ENT Head & Neck Surgery to fulfill his passion for serving his home community.
Dr. Ego-Osuala is highly proficient in all aspects of ENT, including thyroidectomy, parathyroidectomy, parotidectomy, surgical management of head and neck cancer, sinus surgery, tonsillectomy, and ear tube insertion. He provides the highest standard of professional care to both children and adults, and his patients appreciate his compassionate and personalized approach.
In his spare time, Dr. Ego-Osuala loves traveling with his family. He also loves running, both leisurely and competitively.
